Dracula Fang Book Cover

When thinking of the most iconic part of a vampire and the titular character Dracula, what came to mind was the fangs. I toyed with the idea of illustrating Dracula himself but I wanted this cover to be simple and minimalistic so I refined it to be just the fangs. The one drop of blood was added as a further hint to the vampire stereotype.

To further the vampiric style, I chose a blackletter font with exceptionally sharp points, similar to the fang illustration.

For the spine of the book, I chose to put the fangs once more to be easily identified and picked up by the reader from any bookshelf.
