Back to School
This series of illustrations and videos was done for the "Back to School" initiative, a collaboration between the NYC Mayor's Office and the Multimedia and Art departments of Lehman College. These styleframes follow a young girl on her way to public school through the streets of New York City. Instead of more touristy imagery of New York, this story is akin to ‘a day in the life of’. The styleframes features urban train scenes, street scenes and iconography (allusions to Dunkin’ Donuts or to delis, etc.). Following the young girl on her way throughout different sites in the city can be a method to showcase different parts, neighbourhoods and sites of NYC.
