Time Magazine for Kids Design Test
As part of the hiring process for a graphic designer position at Time for Kids, a subsidiary of Time Magazine, I was asked to design a perspective magazine spread. Given the text as well as stock images, I was told to go wild and be creative. I was inspired by an experience I had while teaching art to a 2nd grader, where I would draw around a page and he would find all of the little scenes and story details on the page. I hoped that the kids that read this article would have fun finding and identifying the little drawings of worms, birds and flying objects on this page.
